Every guest at Makkha Health & Spa has their own private treatment room. There are no shared spaces or open floors. Your room is set up just for you, giving you full privacy throughout your session. This is true at all our branches, whether you're visiting solo or with a partner.

On arrival, your therapist will wash your feet before beginning treatment, as part of Thai culture’s attention to detail when it comes to personal hygiene. As you would expect, we change our bed linens, towels, pajamas and other personal products after each treatment. Our aromatherapy spa products are from the WANWAAN brand, known for their unique natural scents and mild formulation that is gentle for sensitive skin.

Pre-Service Consultation
Before your treatment begins, your therapist will take a few minutes to speak with you. This is your consultation, and it helps us give you the best session possible.
You can tell your therapist:
- Which areas you’d like them to focus on, such as the neck, shoulders, or lower back
- Whether you have any tension from long hours at a desk (a common concern we call Office Syndrome)
- Any areas to avoid, such as recent injuries or post-surgery spots
- Your pressure preference, soft, medium, or firm
This step is included in every treatment at no extra cost. It helps ensure your session is safe, comfortable, and right for your body.

Do your therapists have formal training?
Yes. Every therapist at 막카 헬스 & 스파 holds an official certification and has at least one year of professional experience. They must complete over 150 hours of hands-on training and pass a practical massage test before working with guests. Techniques are also adjusted to follow Makkha’s standard protocols to keep every session safe and comfortable.
What essential oils and scents do you use?
우리의 아로마테라피 마사지 products come from WAN WAAN, our in-house brand. Available scents include lavender, rose, and lemongrass. Our best-selling scent is jasmine, which is popular for both oil massage and body salt scrub treatments. All products use 100% natural fragrances with no artificial additives.
Is the shuttle service really free?
Yes, the shuttle service is completely free with no service fee. It is available when your booking total reaches 1,000 baht and must be reserved in advance. In Bangkok, the shuttle covers the Thonglor, Phrom Phong, Asoke, Nana, Ploenchit, and Chidlom areas. In Chiang Mai, it covers all areas within the city (airport excluded). Pattaya and Phuket (Patong area) are also covered.
Can I request soft or firm pressure during my session?
Yes. Before your session begins, your therapist will ask about your pressure preference. You can choose soft, medium, or firm. You can also ask your therapist to adjust the pressure at any time during the treatment. If you have any injuries, tension in specific areas, or zones to avoid, let your therapist know during the pre-service consultation.
